Stock company "Riga Port Elevator" has long traditions. Founded in 1850 Riga Port Elevator is the only company in Latvian Republic capable of loading grain and oilseed in vessels and grain chemical treating.

Riga Port Elevator areas of activities:

• grain and oilseed transshipment in vessels, rail and heavy vehicles;
• storage, drying and quality upgrading of grain;
• fumigation, disinfestation, diratisation and disinfection of grain, vessels, silo and other objects;
• making analyses of grain

All employees of our company are high qualified and experienced. Policy of our company is directed to raising employees' skills, because company is going after all novelties in grain technology and quality.

SC "Riga Port Elevator" offers grain discharging into a silo from motor transport and rail togather with acumulation and further loading into vessels.

Quality control is done simultaneously. If it is necessary we offer cleaning, drying, cooling and cargo upgrading as well as providing vessel's fair average quality by mixing different lots of cargo appropriate to contract. Upon customer's request we can draw up documentation.

On receiving cargo by vessel we carry out discharging into a silo and further loading into rail or motor transport and forwarding.

In accordance with customer's order we can perform grain fumigation and disinfection on board of the vessel/railway wagon or on the territory of elevator.

Our efficiency can be proved by malt transactions. All amount of malt purchased by the biggest Latvian beer producer "Aldaris" is storaged in our company.

We have carried out malt cargo service for such companies as "Prips", KFK, OYLAHPEN Poltimo AB, Finland Grain Association, etc.

The biggest users of our services are Danton Ltd. group companies and Exportkhleb.

Banks of Switzerland have approved storage documents issued by our company.
